Oxdales Cottage holiday let.
Oxdales Farm is a quiet rural location at the southern end of the Peak District, in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales.
It's the ideal base for a walking or cycling holiday, within a few minutes' walk of access to the Tissington and High Peak Trails which together provide a traffic-free route to explore large parts of the Peak District. Dovedale, Beresford Dale and Biggin Dale are all within easy distance for seasoned walkers.
Nearby are the market towns of Ashbourne, Bakewell, Buxton and Wirksworth, as well as former county town Matlock and its adjacent tourist resort Matlock Bath. The lovely old villages of Hartington, Tissington, Parwich and Ilam are closer still. Stately Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are also in the vicinity, while thrill seekers are only a 20-minute drive from Alton Towers.
There's a good choice of pubs and eateries in the area. See links for details.
